Retained Partnerships for Leaders in Business

Support when and where it matters most

When you’re leading on all things people - performance, culture, leadership, wellbeing - it can feel like there’s a never-ending amount to figure out, prioritise, and act on.

What needs your attention now? What’s just noise? And how do you turn good intentions into action?

That’s where I come in.

Our retained partnership gives you direct, ongoing access to me as a sounding board – for sense-making, decision-making, clarity, and momentum. It’s so much easier when you’re not doing it alone.

Whether you’re focusing on supporting managers and leaders, boosting performance, embedding cultural change or evolving your wider people strategy, I’ll be right there with you.

What a retained partnership looks like:

The way we work together will always be shaped around what you actually need – nothing generic or simply for the sake of it. To give you a feel of what this might look like, here’s some examples of what our partnership could include:

  • Leadership coaching
  • Help you to shape a practical people-plan that aligns with company goals
  • Pinpoint what makes it harder for your people to feel engaged and perform well
  • Advisory time with your relevant people to unpick challenges and shape solutions
  • Workshop facilitation or team development
  • Behind-the-scenes sounding board when things need clarity
What’s included:

✔ Direct access to me each month

✔ Flexible use of time to be most useful – coaching, consulting, facilitation, strategy

✔ Priority booking in my calendar

✔ Reduced rates on additional work

Choose the best partnership tier for you:

Embedded

For organisations needing a more hands-on partnership.

This is for senior teams or larger SMEs looking for someone who can stay close to the work – whether that’s developing leaders, shaping strategy, facilitating groups, or coaching key individuals. Think of me as an extension of your team, offering integrated support across your people strategy in the areas of culture, leadership, and performance.

Ideal for:

Organisations navigating complexity, change, or significant growth, where leadership input and strategic clarity are needed across the business.

From £3,250/month

Strategic

For organisations wanting to move forward with a caring, impactful partner by their side.

This level is about staying connected to your evolving needs. It allows for leadership coaching, workshop delivery, strategy reviews and advisory sessions. I’ll help you stay focused, reflective, and on track, and will help fill your development needs.

Ideal for:

Mid-sized teams or businesses with live projects, new leadership priorities, or ongoing people development needs.

From £2,250/month

Core

For smaller teams who value regular input and light-touch support.

If you don’t need something big, but you want access to a thinking partner, advisor and facilitator who understands your context and can step in quickly, this is for you. This might cover some focused coaching sessions, strategic advice, review of practice or workshop prep, and focused support to maintain monthly momentum.

Ideal for:

Leaders who want access to timely help and regular support to problem-solve, reflect and plan, where you don’t have significant people strategy, performance, or culture challenges.

From £1,250/month

Quality Improvement Leader and Coach

"Lisa and I worked together over a few projects focusing on building cohesion and improved communication across multiple Senior Management Teams (SMT) at NHS England. Lisa was brilliant at building trust, which was vital as several of the individuals were sceptical about the work, fearing it would be tokenistic. Lisa brought a level of authenticity to her conversations with individuals which allowed them to be truly honest about the challenges they saw. This led to the SMT being able to face up to some hard truths that had previously been consigned to the 'too hard to look at' pile. Lisa understood what made us tick as individuals as well as a group. The sessions never felt 'out of the box' but totally tailored to us and our needs. She checked in regularly between sessions to understand how things were landing and constantly tweaked her approach to flex with us as our needs changed. I really valued her nuanced approach and several years after first working with her I still consider her one of my most valued advisors when I want an independent perspective."

I had the pleasure of inviting Lisa to talk to my senior leader apprentices about managing change. Lisa skillfully explained how to use and apply psychological and evidenced principles for planning future of work strategies, providing ideas for building workplace environments that foster team collaboration, engagement and inclusivity. Creating workplace cultures that promote and develop these dynamic teams is just one of the ways we can address future trends and influence change. Lots of discussion ensued from her superb workshop session, which continued over lunch and into our Friday afternoon debate! Thank you for such a superb workshop.

We have engaged with Lisa for several years now since being recommended her excellent "Beyond The Water Cooler" podcast. Lisa worked with me on an individual basis before supporting the wider Howorth Leadership Team on a Leadership of Change journey, and through Leadership Labs. Everything I, or we have worked on with Lisa has been first class, bringing challenge and a different perspective to our way of thinking or mode of operation. Lisa is an excellent facilitator and recently delivered what was undoubtedly one of the most powerful and positive development sessions that we have ever had as a team.

"Amazing delivery - fantastic explanations. Engaging and thoughtful. Two hours flew by! I could listen to this lady all day - she is amazing!"

"I organised the session with Lisa for my group of Government apprentices and the session was wonderful - I enjoyed it a great deal and have had fantastic feedback from those that joined . I would definitely recommend to others and I will certainly do so at my cross-government meetings & group events. Lisa's approach was friendly yet informative, and gave attendees the opportunity to feel comfortable to voice opinions. Even after having attended lots of well-being and mental health workshops, one apprentice felt that Lisa described key topics differently, that really resonated with them."

"Lisa spoke at Venture Harbour's Winter Retreat and was one of the team's favourite sessions. Being a team of skeptical "engineering types" I have to admit I wasn't sure how the session on mental health would go down. Needless to say, Lisa did an exceptional job - balancing broad best practice with scientific detail when relevant. Her exercises were fun and, crucially, had lasting impact. Following the success of the Winter Retreat talk, we arranged a 1-to-1 session with Lisa for each team member - which I've heard nothing but glowing things from conversations with the team."

"As part of National Apprenticeship Week we asked Lisa to provide a tailored wellbeing session for apprentices. The session was delivered brilliantly, providing individuals with information and techniques to manage their studying, workload and personal lives; to look after their mental health to avoid burnout. The session was interactive and received great feedback from our apprentices. I highly recommend."

Vicki Wilkinson
Founder at Summit and Talent Director at KHWS

"We asked Lisa to do a talk for our agency just before Christmas 2020, in the midst of lockdown and a year that had taken its toll on everyone. Lisa delivered a brilliant and motivating talk that focused on mental resilience in times of uncertainty. Lisa managed to equip our teams with some coping strategies and techniques that will ensure that they can go into 2021 feeling prepared and optimistic about managing their own mental health. The talk was interesting and engaging, with a few surprises added in (!) and I would highly recommend Lisa to you."

"We have been commissioning Lisa to run training for Primary School staff for a number of years now and her training is always well received by attendees. This year Lisa is running a series of sessions around social, emotional, mental health which has led a school to book Lisa to host their INSET day. I would highly recommend Lisa and the services she offers"
